Villa Florida

"This was our second visit (last came in July 2024). Pro's: - Excellent location. - Short transfer time from airport. - Clean. - Maid service has significantly improved since last year. - Lovely reception staff. - Good-sized pool. - Pool doesn't open u until 10am, so plenty of time to get breakfast first. Con's: - There aren't enough sunbeds, there are at least 15 less sunbeds round the pool than last year, and it's had a massive impact. Queuing for a bed from 9:30am every morning is a joke and whilst the gates don't open until 10am, beds are all gone by 10:03. - People reserving beds with towels and then leaving the pool for several hours and towels not being removed by lifeguard, despite a sign saying they would be. - No entertainment at hotel- no good for children/teens. Whilst this was a return visit for us, we probably won't come back again now (to Caleta or this hotel) as there are other places to visit, but I wouldn't come back here anywhere until the sunbeds situation is resolved."

"Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Bright and friendly reception area. Rooms based around a pool area. There is a pool bar but it was closed and looked quite scruffy to be honest but I understand this is privately owned, however, it doesn't reflect well on the complex. Lovely modern air conditioned apartment greeted us. Well equipped with a modern T.V, fridge freezer, it was really nice. Very clean. The bedroom window frame was broken and we were assured that it would be repaired within 2 days, it was not. This was not a big deal but it would have been nice to have been able to open the window for a air refresh. All in all a lovely place and would return."

"Just back from these apartments.On arrival reception staff were good. Check in was easy.Our room (280) was upstairs and had a lovely large balcony with table,chairs and 2 sun loungers which got the sun all day. Living room was very dark as had no window. Bedroom was good size and ample storage but sadly no air con which was badly needed as bedroom ceiling fan was not adequate. There were several beetles and cockroaches on the balcony and lots dead cockroaches around the apartments. Mosquitoes were a problem for us. WiFi was very hit and miss down by the pool( WiFi was supposed to be free just at the pool).Villa florida was very well situated being on the main strip not far from beach ,shops etc."
