"Just back from another great week staying at the Tarek. It's our 4th year of returning now and will be back again next year. The staff are all very friendly. The pool side is always very clean and the food and drink at the restaurant are great. Well done to all involved"

"Short stay for 3 nights. What a lovely recently refurbished hotel right on the beach. Room was fab, although bed a little hard for me, but that’s just down to personal choice. Shower was large & powerful. There was a good choice for breakfast. Ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, lovely food served with a smile. Reception staff friendly & helpful. We weren’t there to sunbathe on this occasion, but the pool looked very inviting. Would visit again."

"Overall, we had a lovely holiday at the Tarik. As others have said, the location is superb and the hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard. We had a good room on the top floor looking over the beach. It looks like the rooms facing the pool and sea are bigger than the rooms facing the side and back, although the corner rooms have tiny balconies and the rooms next to them also have a smaller balcony than the rest of the pool facing ones. We both enjoyed the breakfast. There is something for everyone and the bacon and eggs are cooked well. In fact the bacon was a nice surprise and wasn't streaky and hard as it can be. The restaurant staff were all pleasant and efficient and the bar staff very hard working and friendly, especially Sergio. We loved the pool. A great size and temperature, with a shower at the pool side. You don't need to bring a towel with you, as you can get them at reception for a €10 deposit. They can be changed every day if you wish. It is good that the pool area doesn't open until 10am, so you can relax at breakfast without the impending feeling of doom that all the beds will be gone! We ate out every night but did have lunch in the Amoura Restaurant and it was very good. There were a few things we weren't overfussed on, but they didn't spoil the holiday. 1. Paying for the safe. Very 1980's. 2. The area around the sunbeds is grassed, which is good in theory but the area around the sunbeds became muddy and then the mud is trampled into the pool. It also meant you couldn't put anything on the floor next to your sunbeds without it getting dirty, along with your feet! 3. The sunloungers on the sundeck (on top of the building) were much nicer than the pool ones and we would have preferred to sunbath there. However, there are no parasols, so loads of empty beds whilst the pool area was full. 4. The reception ladies were very friendly especially Barbara, the men not so much. We would certainly not rule out a return visit."
