Hotel Angela

"Arrived at the Hotel Angela 27th November for 1 week, on arriving we 1st room on side street dark and dingy Had to pay for room on the other side with some natural light, no doors on what was the wardrobe, bathroom unclean and very dated although was informed the rooms had been refurbished..... Food not too bad at first as soon as the majority of the Spanish guests left the food declined rapidly,one meat offering, food used from the night before, dried up and very poor..... The lounge area in darkness all day not open no where to get a hot drink other than snack bar by the pool but of course on a windy wet day is not ideal..... Would we return a big NO"

"Food excellent entertainment very good now the negatives . Rooms are horrible had to pay an extra 15 euros a day for a sea view but room still horrible very dated resembles a hostel , on a rainy day people sat in the main lounge no lighting on ,only place to get a hot drink was snack bar by the pool. main bar should be open for drinks hot or cold , trees for Christmas with no lights on, not very festive ,,, come on Angela you can do much better"

"Stayed many times over the past 10 years, I have to agree with an earlier comment about the food. Just returned on 27 November. My friend and I were there in February this year and can honestly say that the food choice and quality has definitely improved. Dropping the Happy Hour in the evening also appeared to have resulted in a steadier flow of diners and prevented the rush to the pre queue for drinks. Well done."
