Garden Playanatural Hotel & Spa

"Where do i begin to say what a fantastic stay we had at the garden playanatural hotel & spa. I have coeliac disease and am extremely sensitive to gluten cross contamination therefore was unable to eat off the shared buffet. The kitchen team had the manager prepare my food every time fresh from the back so i could eat safely, they went above and beyond for me to make sure i was comfortable and safe. It was never any trouble for them, they even made me a pizza which was incredible. This means so much to me to be treated with kindness and not hostility due to my condition. I couldn't fault the kitchen team and was incredibly grateful for their care towards me. This was my first Holiday since being diagnosed coeliac two years ago and garden playanatural kitchen team has set the standard very high. I would recommend it to anyone with coeliac or food allergies. Please thank Alberto & his team, we will definitely return."

"This is a fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean throughout. The staff were polite and so helpful, especially the staff in the restaurant. The reception staff were really helpful and went above and beyond in helping us when we checked in after midnight. The food was great, always something nice to choose from and loved the themed nights. The pool is clean and quiet, no problem at all getting a sun lounger. I particularly loved that the wristbands also opened the room doors - no more popping back to the room to discover you'd left the room card by the pool! The evening entertainment was fun with the staff really making an attempt to get guests involved. It's worth noting that El Rompido is a very very quiet place, the hotel is really out of the way. We loved this as we were looking for a quiet holiday, but if you're looking for somewhere with lots of restaurants or a hopping nightlife this is not for you. But for a place to really properly relax this is just the thing. Overall a fantastic hotel, I can't recommend it highly enough."

"Great adults only hotel for a relaxing get away from it all resort. Beautiful surroundings, great views and we enjoyed the food. Our room was huge and had an amazing view over the river/El Rompido. As others have noted if you want to explore beyond the immediate area a car is advisable. We booked Seville via reception and hired bikes from reception to cycle to Punta Umbria and Cartaya. There was cycle tracks or a wide verge on the road so very easy. It is a 10 minute walk to a small shop, 15 mins to a row of bars and around 40 minutes to the main part of the village. There are paths through the pine forest to the beach or you can walk around the forest. All the staff were lovely. Diego on reception was particularly helpful in where to go locally and booking our excursion. He always said hello when we were passing by. Pilar, the guest experience manager is a star, what a happy energetic person and such a can do attitude. Thank you all for a lovely stay."
