"A location near the airport and walking distance to the airport Metro, clean, new, with breakfast— this place checked all these boxes and it was so affordable. Be aware that the air conditioning will not activate until a key is inserted in the wall slot, so when you arrive, the room is uncomfortable. Honestly give it 30 minutes and it is fine even if it seems the fan is barely blowing. It was perfect - just don’t remove the key in the wall. The shower products are very nice, with a good hairdryer hardwired to the wall, but NO WASHCLOTHS are provided. We were told to go across the street to the grocery store and buy some if we needed washcloths. Weird. Unfortunately for US travelers, there are no USB charging ports in the room so make sure you have a converter. The room is spacious and breakfast was fine. But the BEST thing of all is the proximity to Mae Restaurant just a few blocks away— we would fly all the way here just to eat the most magnificent dinner at this “Michelin-star” quality restaurant! Stay here and eat there!! We will return."

"EXE Saldanha is a nice enough city hotel—nothing particularly memorable, but it does the job. The rooms are average but comfortable, suitable for a short stay if you're not planning to spend much time indoors. The best part is the location: it's surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets, making it convenient for day-to-day needs while exploring Lisbon. Overall, a solid, no-frills option if you're looking for something functional and centrally located."
