"We spent an amazing ten days here. The architecture is beautiful and the attention to design detail was stunning. We loved looking at the River and boats over our espresso and pastel de nadas. The bar had an old time feel which was perfect to enjoy a negroni on a raíny day. The staff were all incredible and attentive. But we have to say that Guri made our vacation! He was so nice to us that I actually ended up teary (being from the US and expecting the worst from people). He would make care packages for us to take on day trips. He recommended towns to check out for possibly relocating (our dream) and made us a beautiful soup when we arrived home late one night. He is our new friend. We plan to visit here again! Highly recommended!"

"We booked this hotel last minute and it was a great find! One of the best hotels along the Algarve we stayed in. The decor and furnishings were of a high standard and very bed/ linen/towels very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. With a special mention to Guri - who went above and beyond to look after us. He has a professional and genuine manner and I'm sure he will go extremely far in his career. Guri has platinum attention to detail and care for guests. Thank you also to reception and bar crew, who were also attentive. We really enjoyed the beach club as well - bit a walk but otherwise a short car drive up the road. Great hotel with high standards."
