Palais Moulay Said & Spa

"We booked this hotel in September. We never received confirmation of booking but money was taken directly from my bank account and NOT the contractual amount! After 12 email attempts and even a couple of phone calls ( rude response) I was then contacted by a what’s app message ( odd) with a random persons name saying I should click on the link to “pay” for my booking…..why I had already paid ? I have received several of these messages now, all different and different account's with Eastern European names to be paid into. My cousin contacted Booking.com as she has her own booking only to be told they have removed them from their platform. On Xmas eve I finally received a phone call from Bertrand, but unfortunately I had already started the refund process with my bank. Finally after 5 months my cousin has finally managed to speak to Bertrand regarding her booking and he insulted me calling a bad person, a liar and untrustworthy. This is what’s prompted me to write this review as I don’t want anyone else to go through the same expierience. I wish I had read the other scathing reviews and remarks re them being scammers and I certainly would never book with them again"

"What a find! This hotel was brilliant- a calm oasis in amongst the hubbub of souks. The staff were exceptional- all kind, warm, funny & welcoming - they would go out of their way to help. Location was amazing. Our room ( 3 grown up sisters sharing a room) was basis but lovely - beds a little hard - but we were on a budget, so no complaints. Breakfast was lovely - my coeliac sister found the buffet breakfast hard, but she had brought her own found as a work-around. Would def recommend this place & will hopefully return with my husband another time. Thank you everyone at Palais Moulay. xxx"
