Hotel Splendid Taormina

"My husband and myself stayed at the splendid for 1 week it is amazing few minutes walk to the town, we had a great room with balcony and sea view but what made the holiday were the brilliant staff, Andreas, Paulo, Nancy, Martina, Guiseppe (Joe),Valentina,(beer o clock) Guiseppe (reception) and not forgetting the amazing footballer Thomas if I’ve forgotten anyone apologies, they were very accommodating and a great bunch of people. The breakfasts were really good, the restaurant in the evening was fantastic the food is as good as any Michelin star and we’ve been to many (including Ramsey’s) and very reasonably priced, we ate there most evenings, the chefs came out at the end of the evening to introduce themselves, also a big thank you for opening the breakfast restaurant at 7am on the morning we departed we very much appreciated that, once again thank you so much for making our stay memorable."

"Myself and my daughter have just returned today firm 4 amazing nights at this hotel, I am a travel agent myself and booked through EasyJet holidays! We have had a wonderful time, the hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk into the town with numerous bars, shops and restaurants and a 10 minutes to the cable cars that take you down to the beaches and back. Our room was lovely, I booked a room without a balcony as we were only on a short break and knew we wouldn’t spend alot of time in our room, if I was staying for longer I would have booked the balcony room. The staff were all lovely and friendly, the pool is small but adequate and the breakfast was lovely too. I definitely will return and recommend to my customers"

"Musty basement room given to family of 3. Booked the same time as our friends who have amazing balconies and view. They can’t help to change even thought we offered to take a smaller room. I paid way too much money to feel this sad and disappointed. I might move hotels, it’s that bad. Beware when booking and double check room in advance."
