Hotel Ariston

"We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Ariston. The hotel has a great location for exploring Taormina and we felt it provided good value for the price, especially compared to other hotels. Location We hired a car from Catania Airport and drove to Taormina. Getting to the hotel is quite straightforward along the winding roads that access Taormina. Parking from the hotel is at a neighbouring hotel, which reception helped us to access. The beautiful town is less than 10 minutes walk, with its brilliant restaurants and points of interest. We walked in multiple times a day. We did walk to the Isola Bella beach area which took around an hour (all down hill). There is a cable car from the town which is very easy to do. Room We stayed in a standard double room with a Sea View. The room was great for what we needed and perfectly clean. A cot was provided for our baby. The view was spectactular looking over the sea. Food The food and drink at the hotel was good. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day which was good quality and had lots of options. We did not eat dinner at the hotel - we ate out in the town. Facilities We made use of the hotel pool and relaxing areas. The swimming pool is not huge, and it is very deep. This was not very suitable for being in with our young baby. Space around the pool itself can be limited but there is ample space in other surrounding areas. Very good stay overall and would recommend."

"Great location- close to bus terminal for all excursions and short walk away from the town centre. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive! Breakfast is amazing with great variety of foods, catering for all dietary requirements."

"This is a classical hotel located very close to the center of Taormina, within walking distance of the center and the upper cable car station. It has its own private parking which you need to reserve upfront. It’s an old and classical family-owned hotel which fits perfectly with the Taormina vibe and has its unique original atmosphere. You can consider the rooms to be a little outdated but it suits the rest of the property. Price-quality is good for Taormina, if it was located elsewhere, it would be expensive for the slightly outdated room. It is very quiet at night and the bed is comfortable. The room is very clean and has all amenities you might need during your stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and providing maps and tips to get around town. Breakfast is served via a buffet, a lot of options but compared to other Sicilian hotels a bit basic. The pool area is very nice, so are the surroundings of the hotel. A good ‘budget’ option for Taormina compared to the other hotel options."
