"This hotel is located in the very heart of Palermo with everything you might need close and within walking distance. From the window in our room on the third floor we had a lovely view of the fountain and statues. We could also see the Quattro Canti and enjoy being serenaded during the day and evening by the street singers and artists, a perfect way to feel the Palermo vibe. Just around the corner is Via Maqueda with a large choice of restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. And a short walk away are attractions like the Ballaro street market, the Palazzo, the Catedrale, etc. We enjoyed walking around the area and browsing through some of the many arty crafty shops. In the hotel itself, our room was beautiful – large and spacious with a very generous en suite. We booked a double room with city view and this was well worth it. Others in my group booked a single room and were disappointed with the size and amenities of their choices. We enjoyed a lovely dinner upstairs in the Terrazze Cassaro restaurant on the fifth floor. The staff were all friendly and lovely. The same must be said about the staff on reception, all of whom went out of their way to help us in a very friendly and professional way. This hotel has only three stars – in my opinion it deserves at least five. Grazzie mille - thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our five night stay so pleasant and memorable.
