Club Hotel Li Suari

"Review for Hotel Li Suari – San Teodoro, Sardinia Li Suari falls short of expectations for a 4-star hotel. The rooms are quite basic and dated, and mosquitoes are a constant issue. Smoking is allowed almost everywhere, which detracts from the experience for non-smokers. Although the grass is watered regularly, it’s poorly maintained. The nearby beach is not as advertised—rocky, with pebbles, and not suitable for kids. On the positive side, the entertainment is excellent, the food consistently very good, and the pool is clean and well-kept. However, considering the overall conditions, it doesn’t offer good value for money and doesn’t live up to its 4-star rating."

"What an amazing little gem this was. We were impressed by the friendly service of the staff. The food was simply delicious and plenty of it. There are shuttle services to the white sandy beach (which you pay for your beds and umbrella) and to the local town. The hotel has free umbrellas and beds on the beach just a short walk from the hotel. First row is charged at 10€. The water is clear though rocky but pleasant. A 10 min walk you will find a beautiful white sand beach with clear waters which was stunning. Beds and umbrellas are charged from 30€. Lovely little kiosk serving food, snacks and drinks. There is plenty for children to do, the entertainment staff are brilliant and entertained us all throughout the day and a different show every night, these guys are so talented and it was beautiful to watch. The hotel room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and would love to visit again. Thank you"

"After reading a previous review about language difficulty it was not our experience. The first day started poorly with Lufthansa losing our luggage. The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful, She arranged transport to the local town do we could but clothes etc. She even rang her daughter who worked at the airport to see if she could help. True there is s charge every day for the animation team and sun loungers etc, it was Lastminute.com that failed to advertise this (reception told us as soon as we booked in). Food was excellent, you will not be hungry!! With different main courses each evening. The restaurant personal were polite helpful and all communicated in English, We were here in the first week of August and 99% of guests were Italian so all shows etc were in Italian but this didn’t stop us enjoying everything, Animation team worked really hard all day (and night) and Bea ( not sure if I got the name right sorry) was excellent in English and was a credit yo the hotel. The the staff in the small bar also deserve a mention, really helpful and friendly. Only tip take sandals when swimming in the sea much easier walking on the rocks under water !!"
