"I would rate this hotel around 2.5 to 3 stars at best.
During my stay, I experienced several issues and did raise them with reception. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I requested a room change due to significant noise issues, but I was told the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative rooms were available. However, rooms were still available to book online at the time, which made this explanation difficult to understand.
I also couldn’t help but notice a difference in how guests were treated. My male colleagues attending the same conference were proactively offered quieter rooms and given options upon arrival. When I asked to move to a quieter room, I was told no, despite apparent availability. The inconsistency was disappointing.
The noise levels are extremely high — not because of inconsiderate guests, but because the walls (both between rooms and facing outside) are incredibly thin. You can hear everything. If you’re a light sleeper or need rest for work, this is far from ideal.
The bed was also very uncomfortable. There was no mattress topper, and you could clearly feel the springs. I had to request a topper just to make it bearable, and I am generally not a fussy sleeper.
I had read other reviews mentioning that staff did not engage when issues were raised. In my case, I did speak to reception, but unfortunately my requests were not resolved at all just a "no we are fully booked".
Finally, the Wi-Fi was extremely slow. If you’re planning to work during your stay, be aware that the connection may not be reliable — I had to hotspot from my phone to get anything done.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience and not one I would choose again."
