Atico Hotel

"Just a basic hotel that you choose when there is nowhere else to live because of high season. Nothing remarkable. The only thing good was the cleaning of the room and the location close to the ocean and the center. We payed 205 € per night which is waaay too high for what you get. They also charge 2€ per person every 3 nights when they change towels. The ac is loud, the fridge makes noises, you can hear everyone talking and walking in the corridor. WiFi connection also terrible. Breakfast is additional, 10€ per person which we didn’t choose because you can eat breakfast near the ocean for 11 € total. Friendly staff."

"Located only a block from the lake and only a few blocks from the main restaurant and bar district. Kind of a weird layout with the rooms on first floor (second floor for those from the USA) above some business establishments. Even though it is located on a very busy round-about it quiets down at night. Rooms are small but big enough for a couple nights stay. Breakfast is served outside on a front patio. You make your breakfast choices the night before from a list. Nothing fancy but just OK. Our second morning we had an early train so they made up a take-away bag for us. It is about 15 minute walk to the train station."

"Hotel is in center of Desenzano del Garda. From the train station it is about 10 minutes to walk, 2 minutes from beach, 5 minutes from port. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and nice rooms."
