Berjaya Reykjavik Natura Hotel

"I booked this hotel through Iceland Air. This was my first time to Iceland. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and safe. Adequate parking. Internet was fine for surfing, streaming, and keeping in touch with the office. The hotel spa was fairly nice. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of offerings. Things in Iceland are expensive, so loading up at breakfast was a cost savings. The hotel is near a bus stop, walking paths (10 minutes by foot to downtown), and very close to the Perlan museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner buffet was pretty good, along with bar food like fish n' chips. I'd stay there again for sure."

"The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the domestic airport, so there is occasional noise from the private jets that fly in and out of that airport. Others, the location is good, i.e., it is possible to walk to major sightseeing attractions. room was a good size. The bathroom was cramped, especially the shower. The front desk was incompetent! We had a two night stay, combing a personal reservation with one made by a tour company. The hotel and the company were advised that we didn't want to have to checkout and check-in. Upon arrival the front desk manager issues us keys the he said would be good for both nights. When I got to our room, the keys didn't work. I had to go back to the lobby to have the keys reissued. The next morning the keys stopped working again! Breakfast was good."

"We arrived at night, around 02:30. Check-in was rather easy and we just wanted to get to our hotel and sleep. The room was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. But here comes the kicker, the bathroom smelled absolutely horrendous. You could not be in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes without getting sick. There was definitely mold. Thank god the door was closed when we got in because otherwise the whole room would stink. Definitely check that, it is really careless to make guests stay in a room where you can barely be in the bathroom. Room 335, absolutely disgusting."
