Semiramis City Hotel

"A great location for exploring with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast and evening meals allowed for plenty of choice. The hotel is within easy teach of Rhodes town and also the beach. the local restaurants are also within easy walking distance."

"This was my second stay at Semiramis - last year I stayed with a friend and this year with my partner and the hotel is ideal for any kind of stay. The staff are second to none - reception, restaurant, bar and housekeeping staff are all so friendly, polite and helpful. I became ill during my stay and nothing was too much trouble. Virtually all rooms can see the sea and have balconies which make for excellent sunsets. The buffet style breakfast and dinner are very good, there’s a good array of activities, the beds are comfy, the hotel is in a great position for the sea and town … can’t fault it."

"We stayed at this hotel for four nights before heading to Turkey. Overall, it was an okay stay. The pool area was quite run down and dated, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the building adjacent to the main one, connected by a small gangway. Our room was lovely—spacious, clean, and with a decent balcony. The only real downside was the noise at night. The doors didn’t seem to fit properly and kept slamming, which made it quite hard to sleep. The breakfast was fine, though nothing special. Some of the fruit on display was actually rotten, which really shouldn’t happen. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the poolside food was okay—again, nothing to rave about but acceptable. The location was excellent. It’s only about a five-minute walk to the beach (though uphill on the way back), and just a short, easy walk into town. Overall, it’s a standard hotel—nothing fancy, but comfortable enough in a great location with very friendly staff. Despite a few issues, it was ok , there are much nicer hotels to stay at in Rhodes"
