Venezia Resort Hotel

"We returned for about our tenth time and it just keeps getting better and better, each year something new is added. Ran by a fantastic family and the same staff year after year, ultra clean throughout and nothing is too much trouble. The food is also excellent and something for everyone even the fussy eaters, Big shout out to Ardit in the restaurant, nicest guy you will ever meet. Nobody should go hungry as so much variety and beautiful tasty greek dishes to try too. All staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you, even the cleaners they are very friendly and many of them have been there for many years. Anastasia and Stergos on reception are the most welcoming and helpful people you will ever meet nothing is ever too much trouble even when they are busy. and a big shout out to Maria she is very friendly, never stops running around cleaning everywhere and very knowledgeable about the area and goes above and beyond to help if needed"

"Wow wow wow. Amazing. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. I would definitely go again. It was clean and modern. Lots of choices of food and activities. The area was big, with different areas to relax, with 4 pools. I read many negative reviews and in my opinion these expect the world at their feet. For an all inclusive it was cheap and in my opinion worth so much more than what we paid for (I understand we went in October so season is ending etc, so bound to be cheaper.) the hotel is based on a hill, walking down was lovely, close to the beach and town, walking up is steep but there is a bus route, right outside the hotel. On another note, in my opinion only a couple of the staff were nice, especially Maria and the activities staff, the rest of the staff were quite cold and would never smile, apart from that 10/10!!"

"Family of 4 stayed for 7 nights arriving 22nd October. The hotel is within close proximity of the airport, taking approximately 20 minutes, the beach and local town are also a 20/30 minute walk or there is a free shuttle bus picking you up from the hotel reception doors and takes no longer than 10 minutes. The hotel is nestled on a hill and with that comes some incredible views - especially from the main restaurant looking out to sea. We arrived at 9:15pm, and immediately the staff were so kind and welcoming making sure that we went and grabbed some food - finalising our check in after. This was the theme from the hotel staff throughout our stay, down to earth no snobbery and working hard to do their best to ensure you enjoy your stay! We went to Greece knowing that the season was coming to a close, we wanted a slower paced relaxing holiday and that’s what we got. That said easy jet did do some incorrect advertising and that will be taken up with them - not the hotel. (This was nothing major, however, easyjet should offer more transparency). Our room was clean and comfortable it was literally just a place to rest our head, or take a beer and some lays to sit on the balcony before getting ready for the evening. The pool areas were spotlessly clean, the pool bar served some great fast food and our kids were in there most days for gyros and pizza. The main restaurant did do a varied selection of foods and tries to be sustainable by growing their own produce and having supplies from local suppliers (Sarikas bakery 😋 worth a trip to this place too). The taverna booking didn’t work through the app but reception sorted this straight away and booked us in and this again was lovely!! on recommendation from Staff and locals (desert rose restaurant will be worth a visit too). Overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely look at booking again. If you’re lucky enough you will also get some cuddles from the resident cats and kittens."
