"This is a Modern hotel right on the beach, there are 2 swimming pools both have sun beds with thick mattresses on them. We stayed for 1 week B&B, breakfast was very nice, fresh ingredients, rooms very nice with dressing gowns provided, these are one size and didn’t fit my husband. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, small balcony just big enough for a table and 2 chairs. Hotel is in a great location in the middle of Stalis. Friendly staff. We had a great time."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Alai Marriott – A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Stalida. It’s hard to beat the location — right on the beach and close to everything in town. From the moment we arrived, Ken and Vagallis made us feel welcome. As Marriott Ambassador members, we travel often, and it’s the people who make the difference — George went out of his way to resolve a few small issues quickly and professionally. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing with two pools, a beach bar, and plenty of loungers both by the pool and right on the sand. Housekeeping was excellent — May and Jovlyn kept our room spotless every day. A highlight of our trip was the dinner organized by George and hosted by Andonis, the Restaurant Manager. Dining by the ocean with the sound of the waves and delicious food was the perfect ending to our stay. Our room looked lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable, but the layout wasn’t ideal — the sink in the bedroom and lack of counter space made it a bit inconvenient, and the shower tended to splash water onto the floor. Breakfast was good and fresh, though after several days we found the selection a bit limited. Overall, we’d definitely return. The staff, the setting, and the relaxed seaside vibe make this a great spot for a Cretan getaway."

"The hotel has a great location in the middle of stallis right on the beach, the hotel was spotless ,very modern and very nicely decorated staff were brilliant ,friendly and attentive ,would have liked to have stayed at the bar some nights but no one there ,probably to do with very expensive drinks"
