Hotel Glasgow Monceau by Patrick Hayat

"Stayed for two nights as part of a business trip. Room was compact (and dark) but met my needs during the stay. Bathroom on the small side but fine, although the shower was very tight to use. Housekeeping had a mind of their own and would try to service the room even with 'do not disturb' on the door. The strangest and perhaps most frustrating part of the stay was their refusal to not activate the air conditioning in the room. The receptionist was quite rude about this, stating that it's not that warm (it was) and that its not required. When did his comfort become more important than his guests? I was advised to open the window, which I did to the expense of my privacy (they opened inwards) and to traffic noise. They should be more clear about their policy on their website if the aircon is seasonal. Eventually the aircon was activated so I can only assume others complained too."

"Front desk is friendly and kind. Our room, on the 4th floor front, is small but functional. The Fragonard bath products are sensational! The hotel is well decorated, well maintained and the staff accommodating. The metro is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We’d definitely return."

"Absolutely will be visiting again! Great location for seeing the real paris. Been to paris a number of times and this was our best stay. The staff were fantastic. The air con was a great retreat during the heat wave. If you want to see paris for the culture rather than what you see on social media, this is the hotel for you! Beds super comfy, and bathroom clean."
