Indigo Bordeaux Centre Chartrons

"Unbeatable location, only steps to tram line and the riverfront. This was my second stay here, both delightful. Staff service is superior; they constantly went out of their way to assist Anglo with poor French. The rooms are quite large by Europe standards. Only minor observation is that room decor is quirky, going a bit overboard to do whimsical theme colors. I would stay here again."

"Rebranded an Indigo (from Mercure) and renovated 3 years ago. The building shares an inward-looking courtyard with another glassy modern building. Located not far from the river, a short walk into the Chartrons neighborhood just behind it, and nearby an old-style amusement park where the edge of the old historic and main commercial shopping area begins. Cruise ships were sometimes docked in the river nearby, but on another day there was a farmer's market there. Front desk staff were always very helpful. At check-in Zoe escorted us to our room, a King Suite. Our room was painted in bright blue hues and had lots of windows, but during the off-daylight hours could use better lighting. The bathroom was huge with separate tub and shower. We quite liked the hotel (our first stay in an Indigo), but it was also our first time in Bordeaux, a slightly more central location might have been more helpful."

"It is an affordable hotel with good rooms and a nice roof top bar. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walk to the city center and the boulevard. Nothing fancy just good."
