"Expectations were high as we prefer boutique hotels with good chefs . Getting emails answered proved difficult and arranging transportation. Yet once we knew how it was easy and cheaper than the proposed private boat only from Dubrovnik. The location could not be faulted , stunningly beautiful with a gorgeous view from our premium top floor suite . Unfortunately there were too many negatives that outweighed the positives . We had a large terrace with huge table but only one sunbed. No tea or coffee making facilities, yet a kettle! Decking around the pool was broken and dangerous . Day trippers and boats swamped the area from 9am until 7pm, 2 or 3 party boats with loud music and chanting arriving Families on boats taking over the cabanas reserved for hotel guests with young children and a dog, stayed all day and bought a coke and pizza Debris washed up in the bay from all the party boats including food waste, crisp packets , water bottles, sanitary wear and syringes! Photos attached . Breakfast was poor . No orange juice left or Prosecco,at 9.30 am breakfast served until 10am lukewarm coffee served and no milk in tea unless asked for . Locals from neighbouring villas walked through the restaurant lounge area walking dogs off lead and were seen to cock legs on the chair leg at night On our last morning we went for a walk before our check out only to discover the housekeeper in our room had thrown out our banana’s kiwi’s and wine we had bought for our lunch. Apparently a miscommunication!"

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the start of our island hopping trip…it was recommended by my sister and I’m so pleased she did. We booked the taxi and boat transfer and are pleased we did as our plane was delayed by 2 hours so we didn’t actually arrive until 11pm…the boat in the moonlight was a lovely experience. We were met at the quay by the manager who arranged for our luggage to be taken to our room and had arranged a snack given our late arrival…most thoughtful. Our room was a 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen that we actually didn’t use, two lovely bathrooms which came in very handy and two good size bedrooms. All immaculate and spotless, lovely decor also and overlooking the beautiful harbour. All of the staff were friendly, professional and gave excellent service…the breakfast was super, eggs of your choice plus a continental spread. We ate dinner at the hotel each night and were spoilt for choice, all very well cooked and presented and reasonable price. The island is lovely to completely relax…don’t come here if you’re looking for entertainment or activities. We walked to the other side of the island which made us so happy we had chose the beach house! Lots of lovely walks/hikes. Our only piece of feedback is that we would have loved a coffee machine in our room…it’s always nice to have the first cup on the balcony without having to go down to the bar…just a small detail but surprising that it was lacking. We don’t hesitate to recommend for a relaxing break in style and comfort."
