"Firstly i want to thank the Maldron group you have looked after me and my wife across the UK when I have travelled I always choose the Maldron. There are many reasons for this but primarily it’s a home from home experience. Exceptional hotels across your 22 sites. I need you to understand how exceptional my visit was to your Derry site. The people who made this experience possible need to be named Kadie on your front of house team. Barney and Eamon the night staff could not have done more for us. We were treated like family from the word go. We stayed in the Elenor Suite on our stay. This is regarded by many as the “best room in the house” with panoramic views of Derry city how lucky we were. I want to give Barney recognition for his attention to detail. His overall warm and willing embrace to us as guests of the hotel. No ask was too big or to small for Barney to execute. He went over and above on our stay to make us feel like the most important people in the building. I have stayed in many hotels across the world rarely have i seen such impeccable service from one person. I would implore management to recognise Barney and Eamon for their efforts to look after guests especially at unsociable hours. Needless to say we will be returning outstanding from start to finish. If you are visiting Derry in the near future i suggest you visit this hotel and ask for Barney!"
