Asfiya Sea View Hotel

"My wife and I stayed at Asfiya Hotel in the first week of October and we found out that it had been taken over by a management contract just before the season began. The hotel is now starting to look tired and is needing a good revamp over the closing season in order to maintain its luxury standard. We were disappointed that the old sun beds had gone as they were the best in Kalkan. Breakfast was okay. We will be returning to Kalkan next year and I’m not so sure that we will stay there."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, great views and quiet, easy walk into town and a nice stroll back to work off your food! The staff can’t do enough for you and keep the place nice and clean. Ahmet the new manager talks to all the guests to make sure you are happy and is happy to offer advice on how to negotiate Kalkan. Breakfast is always fresh with plenty of choice and you can have eggs cooked anyway you like. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed."

"We’ve stayed at Sea View numerous times in the past, including last year at the same time, which we were very disappointed with (for numerous reasons mentioned in other reviews). It turned out that this was due to the changing of the guard in management. We thought things might have improved this year and decided to take the risk going back (as the views from the bar, pool and every room are spectacular), and we are so glad we did! The new team running the show are brilliant! Ahmet, the owner, who also manages Likya pavilions and Likya Gardens, and has really brought place back to where it was. All staff now speak English to at least a basic standard and are very attentive to your every need. Ozzy sets a perfect example, which is followed. Can’t wait to return next year to this amazing hotel 👌"
