"My family and I regularly visit this hotel. Alba and the whole entertainment team do an excellent job and keep the kids entertained throughout the day. The rooms are cleaned daily and the grounds are immaculately presented. The food is lovely and has a great selection throughout the day. We really enjoyed everything about the hotel and will definitely be returning."

"Calling this a 4-star feels a bit generous. If it were advertised as a solid 3-star, there would probably be no bad reviews — it would be one of the best 3-stars around! The staff are lovely, always friendly and working really hard to keep everything clean and tidy. Most guests are German, French, or Spanish. Entertainment: During the day, not much happens after lunch, but the pool is a great temperature and we’ve spent hours in it. Sunbeds are never an issue — plenty to go around even when people reserve their favourites early. Evening entertainment has been okay — we’ve definitely seen worse! The acrobatic act was brilliant, and the singers each night have been very good too, though more like background music than a show. Room: We have a family suite (two rooms with an adjoining door), which gives us loads of space and two bathrooms — ideal with two teens! No fridge though. Beds are fine but not great — singles with single bedding that move around and scrape when you roll over. My husband’s not a small man but not huge either, and even he struggles to move without the bed shifting. Pillows are very soft (not in a good way). The air con works well but is quite noisy, and as the back of the hotel faces a 4-lane road, it’s pretty loud at night. Earplugs are a must. You also can’t adjust the temperature or fan speed. Food: The food quality is good but very repetitive. We’re not fussy eaters and usually love all-inclusive, but after four days we’re struggling to find anything new to try — about 90% of it is the same each day. That said, the fish at lunchtime is excellent! Drinks: Standard all-inclusive drinks, but the cocktails are surprisingly strong, and prosecco is included, which is a nice touch. Tea and coffee aren’t great, but honestly, I’ve yet to find good ones abroad! Area: The area isn’t fantastic — not much to do other than browse the usual holiday shops or sit in a bar. The beach is about a 15-minute walk (very steep uphill on the way back), though there is a shuttle service. Maspalomas beach itself is lovely — four sunbeds cost €15 — but the surrounding area feels a bit rundown, and I wouldn’t feel totally safe there at night. Attractions like the water park are also quite pricey. Would we come back to the hotel? No — but we haven’t had a bad time at all. Would we return to Gran Canaria? Probably not, and definitely not to Playa del Inglés. We paid £2400 for 2 adults and 2 teens during October half term with EasyJet. We feel that’s about right for what you get — but we wouldn’t pay more."

"We took our 2 Grandchildren,16 and 14 , a bit apprehensive, but they really enjoyed themselves, joining in with most activities. Rooms were fine, food was good, Entertainment staff were great, swimming pool opened at 08.00, no Life guard till 10.00 ,but ok for us. Will be back"
