Elba Lucia Sport and Suite Hotel

"A great holiday in a 3 star hotel ! Beautiful pool, clean spacious room and really friendly staff. Positives The breakfast was good The staff were great - special mention to the black lifeguard he was brilliant Amazing effort for Halloween - kids loved pumpkin carving and trick or treating around the hotel Drinks were great from the bar and could also get crisps which went down well ! Rooms were always well cleaned Kids loved the pool carpet Negatives Slow check in process - not ideal after half a day travelling with young children. Didn’t get acknowledged or offered water or anything while we wait as we weren’t first in the queue Shame there was no entertainment for the kids in the evening even tho it was advertised Booked a room for 3 people so was disappointing that the sofa bed wasn’t set up on arrival and we also weren’t provided with enough towels Neutral Lunch/dinner was ok - not the best selection and sometimes the food was cold. There was a microwave but chips need to be hot and fresh! Salad bar was always good and good selection of fresh rolls. Wouldn’t put me off coming back but wouldn’t rave about the food If you want to go to beach / town then it’s a good 30 min walk. There is a free shuttle which is brilliant. No air con - thought this would be a massive issue but rooms stayed surprisingly cool even in 25 heat. Could hire a fan but would have had to pay we didn’t feel we needed one We booked this as it was a cheap get away knowing it was only 3 stars so I think it was brilliant value for money and couldn’t really of asked for much more - we would return for some winter sun !"

"We recently stayed at Elba Lucia and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic — varied every night with plenty of options for meat and fish. Even though our kids were a bit picky (as kids often are), there was always something for them to try. The swimming pool was a highlight! Our children absolutely loved it, and I want to give a special shoutout to one of the lifeguards — a Black gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. He was brilliant with the kids, always engaging with them and doing his job with care and professionalism. It was reassuring to see someone so dedicated to safety and fun. Sadly, the other lifeguard spent most of his time chatting with his girlfriend at the bar and didn’t seem to be paying much attention to the pool area. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our stay comfortable. However, the biggest letdown was the lack of evening entertainment for children. We’ve travelled a lot and usually find discos, character shows, or some form of kids’ entertainment in the evenings — but here, it was non-existent. This made evenings a bit dull for the little ones. If this were improved, we’d definitely consider returning. Also, while the hotel advertised daily activities, very few were actually carried out. Apart from the water carpet and sangria-making, most of the listed activities didn’t happen, which was disappointing. Overall, Elba Lucia has a lot going for it — great food, lovely staff, and a fun pool — but it could be even better with more consistent activities and proper evening entertainment for families."

"I left my hoodie on a sofa in reception, it was stolen by someone I’m a 75 year old disabled pensioner. So nice this can happen to me. It’s a light grey Lambretta hoodie size 3 X-LARGE. Thank you to the thief & the lady on reception this morning who said, perhaps someone took it lol any help I’m in room 124 for another 12 days"
