"Just returned from an amazing stay here with my Husband. Fantastic hotel – nice, spacious clean room – good pool area, plenty of sunbeds (and an added bonus that there wasn’t people reserving them – and you could always get one). Good pool bar that serves a good selection of drinks and snacks – all very reasonably priced too.
We stayed B&B so can only comment on the breakfast as we ate out in the evenings, but the breakfast was nice – buffet style – again with a good selection of hot and cold food.
All staff we came across were nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel also features a team of entertainers which were great. The entertainers are around for a few hours during the day – to either host games (shuffle board / darts etc) or do some kind of demonstration (sangria making / aloe vera demonstrations etc) – this is obviously voluntary (but free) and was really fun. Both entertainers were great, very friendly and fun, and a special shout out in particular to Marty who we met on day one, and spent a fair bit of time with with. There is also evening entertainment on in the bar – this tends to start at 9.30pm and ranges from a Spanish singer, reggae, Aretha franklin, music quiz, karaoke etc. We wouldn’t normally bother with hotel entertainment, but having caught the singer on the first night, who was really good, we returned most nights after our dinner to see what was on, and really enjoyed most acts. There is also a pool table in the bar, and plenty of TVs (for the sports fans). One of the barmen also makes AMAZING cocktails – especially espresso martinis – quite possibly the best I have ever had (and I’ve had ALOT). Again all drinks in the bar are very reasonably priced.
The hotel is about a 30 minute or so walk to the main strip, which has plenty of bars and restaurants. For somewhere more local to the hotel, there is a small square with some bars and restaurants too.
We caught a taxi from the airport which took around 30 mins to drive to the hotel and cost 60 EURO.
Things to do wise – we are always a bit more chilled on our February trip, but we did do the quads which was fun (ask at reception for more details), and also visited popcorn beach (5/10 minute walk from the hotel). This was a cool beach where the stones looked like pieces of popcorn. If you walk down to the right, there also tends to be lots of surfers which was fun to watch, and a very nice beach bar which did the most amazing octopus.
We also caught the bus one day to a beach a bit further away – which had actual sand on it – really nice beach.
Overall, this was a fantastic hol, and would definitely recommend the hotel and area in general."
