"Comfortable chain hotel located close to Amsterdam city centre. We had a quad room (4x single beds) which suited us and our two teenage children - so many ‘family’ rooms expect siblings to share a double bed. Nice Italian restaurant and Lidl located close by, 15 minute walk or short tram ride to Sloterdijk station to connect to Amsterdam Centraal, or 15 minute tram ride into city. No.19 tram stops directly next to the hotel - so convenient. Breakfast - 18E extra per person - is standard European buffet and is ok."

"Dear XO Hotels Team, Thank you for your response, but I would like to clarify several points regarding my incident. Compensation is not my primary concern. What matters most is your moral responsibility for what happened. The situation I found myself in was extremely unpleasant and shocking. I did not violate any internal rules, yet I was ejected from the hotel in the middle of the night with the involvement of the police. This made it significantly more difficult for me to find a new place to stay, especially after a long journey. I had barely enough funds for another hotel, and I had never faced such threats before. Furthermore, your staff smoked right under my window around the clock, creating unbearable living conditions. Additionally, someone forcibly entered my room despite the “Do Not Enter” ⛔️ sign on the door. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Fortunately, the Booking.com office is also located in the Netherlands, and I intend to leave a review of my experience on Google Maps. It seems that your administration and Booking.com were working in tandem, which raises suspicions of internal corporate corruption, leaving customers without support. Your staff created an environment in which I, as a guest, faced danger and threats. This cannot be the norm for any hotel. I came to Europe believing I would feel safe, only to encounter the unacceptable behavior of your personnel and disarray in cooperation with local law enforcement. I urge you to investigate this situation and take measures to ensure that nothing like this happens again. My experience should not become the norm for other guests. Sincerely,"

"It was a great experience. The location didn't have much local restaurants around, but they did have a Lidl (supermarket) that is 4 min away. The main station to connecting trains and metro is about 13 min walk and Tram 19 stops right in front of the hotel. It was a bit far from the main tourist attraction, but with the tram, it can get you into the central area within 20 min and the tram runs every 10 min. I was on the second floor, so I heard all the traffic noise. I had the corner room, so the room was big and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Checking in and out was easy as well and they do store your bags."
