"Paid for breakfast and was told we hadn't paid after we had sat down to eat after about 25 minutes they finally realised we had Paid no apology nothing after being embarrassed in front of other guests didn't want to reimburse the money and the manager and staff were very rude it's a absolute dump would not recommend this place to anyone it was also advertised as central but it's a 30 minute walk from centre wouldn't go there again if it was free beware of this hotel"

"We stayed here for 3 nights. After arriving at 8:30am we did not expect our room to be ready however the let us check into room 57. Reception is bright and the staff were inviting. When we went to our room I was sceptical as the lift was next door to our room. I thought I would have 3 nights of hearing the lift operating but it was silent, so if you get this room don't panic. The room in question is a superior king which was spacious and modernised. It is equipped with everything you need while being away from home. Complimentary water is restocked daily if you request a room clean. Coffee and tea station fully stocked although no milk which is slightly disappointing if you're not a coffee drinker. Although the bed is not a traditional mattress like we have in the UK the bed was still very comfy. Breakfast is aimed more towards the continental breakfast with cereals cheeses and fruit. The warm option is bacon, pancakes and scrambled egg. But plenty of other options to choose from. If you don't mind walking into the centre it's only a 10 minute stroll. There is a tram stop 50yards from the entrance. Also the zoo is just across the road. Overall a really nice stay and would book again."

"I dont know what type of hotels those giving 5 star rating usually stay in but this is a dump! Thr room was very shabby there is a wall cupboard immediatly infront of the door which we nearly hit ourselves on. the bathroom has a shower curtain with dubious stains,Its very shabby the whole thing needs updating, it was so noisy our room was directly over the reception I thought there was a party the first night but now re4alise after checking out at 3.50am its the guy on reception who has the loudest laugh!"
