Ozo Hotel Arena Amsterdam

"We stayed here for F1. Had two rooms. My daughter’s room was fine (525), outs (511) was awful. Upon arrival the toilet seat was hanging off. Had to get it repaired. Using the shower…… it flooded from cubicle to bathroom to bedroom!!! Went under the bed!! Reported it…. Their ‘fix’ was to dry the floor and put towels outside cubicle We opted into room tidy service. It wasn’t touched. Sadly there is a lack of consistency in the rooms and it’s pot luck if you get a decent one"

"My experience at Hotel OZO was truly terrible. The staff were unfriendly and even gave the impression that they were mocking the guests. From the moment we arrived, the air conditioning wasn’t working. Every time we complained, they told us it would be fixed “in 10 minutes,” but it never was. When we contacted to cancel the reservation, we were told that the air conditioning wasn’t broken, but that the weak airflow was simply the standard for the rooms — which is completely inadequate. We were forced to sleep with the window open, resulting in four unbearable nights due to the heat and mosquitoes. The cleaning staff always ask if you want the room cleaned — something unnecessary, as it should be a standard part of the service. Even when I agreed, the cleaning was poor: they didn’t change the sheets, despite the fact that, without air conditioning, you sweat a lot during the night. In the common areas, like the restaurant, they only turn on the air conditioning if guests complain about the heat, which is unacceptable. We only had breakfast there once; it was very poor and not at all worth the price. Honestly, I can’t say anything positive about this hotel. The experience was disappointing in every way. If you can avoid staying at this hotel, do it. It will be the best decision you can make."
