"Don’t even think about booking this hotel. The hotel states it is 4 star, based on the requirements for a 4 star hotel this does not meet that. First if you stay here and are at the back of the hotel, you won’t sleep. There is a restaurant and road which is busy day and night. Glass collection is at 7am sharp. The hotel entrance is tasteful and that’s where it ends. The rest of the hotel is faded and in need of an update. The room we had was terrible, the furniture was broken, there was no kettle on arrival we had to ask for one, it should be standard In a 4 star hotel. The bed makes a noise even before you sit on it, the room air con and heating doesn’t work, the room is cold, the buttons are broken. The bathroom is so small you cannot get in and out the bath shower without contorting yourself. The breakfast is not worth the effort, the only hot item is overcooked scrambled egg, not even a toaster. Plenty of salad and meat. The world’s smallest cups for borrowers is what you get to make a brew in. most hotel staff are rude, not sure if that’s just being Italian. The bar server is really lovely and very chatty. ordered some drinks are the bar, was told by receptionist we cannot pay the bar bill until we leave? We have other peoples bathrooms backing onto our room and we get to hear everything they do In the bathroom. Once in a lifetime trip Ruined baby staying in this hotel"

"Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and the location was perfect for exploring Rome, with many restaurants, attractions and good shopping close by, or within walking distance. Very happy with our choice of hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water and fresh sheets and towels everyday.  A mini bar is provided and a safe.  Roof terrace is especially lovely for breakfast and afternoon drinks, with amazing views across the city. Plenty of choice for breakfast, dont understand anyone complaining about the food in previous reviews.  Location can be a little noisy at night time if you have a room overlooking the Parliament building but this did not really bother us and windows and shutters can close off the noise. The presence of the Carabineri right outside the hotel is reassuring, although we felt very safe throughout all of Rome."

"This is a lovely hotel, after reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned however I didn’t need to be. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect it’s so central we could walk to so many attractions and lovely restaurants it enabled us to be in the heart of Rome throughout our trip. Opposite the parliament building police are present 24 hours which is lovely for security however we felt safe everywhere. Room was huge as was the bathroom. Yes it’s a little dated but nothing that made us feel it wasn’t a quality hotel. I would like to mention housekeeping as I’m not sure they always get the recognition they were superb! Our room was beautifully clean everyday. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking Rome was lovely. Continental style which was all we needed to start the day and appreciated as Rome is expensive so it saved us having to take time out of our day finding places to eat for breakfast. We wanted to spend all our time out and about and didn’t spend much time in the hotel or the room as we didn’t visit Rome for this reason. We wanted central, comfortable and convenient and this hotel ticked all the requirements we wanted. If you want to be central staying in a clean comfortable hotel this hotel is perfect. Only thing that wasn’t good WiFi is rubbish in the rooms but fine in the main hotel. We really couldn’t get WiFi in the hotel room so I would suggest plenty of data if you want great wifi in your room we really couldn’t get a good connection. But we didn’t want to spend time in our room we wanted to spend all our time walking this breathtaking, beautiful city. I would recommend this hotel and sitting outside watching the world go past after a busy day walking around the city was perfect. Want a really great central location within the beautiful parliament squire this is a great hotel we would stay again if we went back."
