Nimfi Hotel Skiathos

"This hotel is one of the Phillian Group of hotels. Having staying in one 3 years previously we expected the same high standard and service. Oh how wrong we were. We had booked before covid and transferred our booking to September 2022. The room we were given was a garden room with no window only shuttered doors so the lights had to be on constantly. It was so dark. However the other 2 garden rooms were bright and airy. Having booked so early we would have expected one of the better rooms. To get to the basement rooms we had to climb down a dark winding staircase, not the best. The room was definitely not work what we paid for it. Our garden room had a small area with a table and chairs. However, you were pestered with stray cats if you sat there. Not helped by the hotel staff feeding them. Breakfast was the same every day, nothing exciting. There is no way we would recommend this hotel to anyone "

"Spent one week at the hotel and enjoyed it very much. You get the best of both worlds being only a very short walk from the beech yet you can walk in to the centre of Skiathos town in 10 minutes. Or catch the bus from outside the hotel either to go to other beeches or in to town. A taxi in to town was only 7 euro. We booked a suite in the hotel which consisted of a bedroom and a living room with a balcony and sea view which was very good. The hotel does not have many facilities no pool or bar but friendly and helpful reception staff. My partner is a celiac and the hotel sourced gluton free cakes and savouries for her breakfast in addition to the normal breakfast. Great holiday and would recommend the Tomato beech hotel"

"Fabulous little find. Great location with bus stop outside. Short walk to Megali Ammos beach with selection of restaurants. 20 minute walk into town. Supermarkets nearby for essentials. Fabulous sea views and comfy room. Breakfast was great. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended."
