Hotel Victor Hugo Paris Kleber

"I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Victor Hugo. My hotel room was very nice and had some good character as well. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning - not over-the-top, felt personal, and a nice amount of new things each day. The staff were friendly and it was a great location."

"I chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Her mom lives in Paris and this is where they suggest friends and family stay. The great part is the location. It is on a side street in the 16th arondissement very close to cute corner cafes, a short walk to the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, shopping, and easy walk to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel itself is just okay. They have made some updates but not totally. The room we stayed in on the 5th floor at the end by the elevator opened to a tiny hallway with a toilet on one side, the shower and sink on the other (separate toilet is always a plus) and a carpeted hall to the bedroom behind another door. I'm sure it's the result of a conversion at some point but the hall and multiple doors is a waste of space. The room was quite small, although it had a closet with hangers. The bed, wallpaper, and dresser may be newly updated but the room had carpeting that smelled like damp feet, and the bathroom/toilet areas were very old and dated. It was a competent stay for Paris at the price point, and location was good."

"Nice hotel and great location. We stayed for 7 days. Very close to the Arc de Triomphe and other sites. Front desk staff were very friendly and eager to help with whatever you need. Rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Had a shortage of fresh towels the last 2 days but were able to get towels from the front desk. Good breakfast available."
