Austria Trend Parkhotel Schoenbrunn

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 days on our Vienna trip. Two things which were amazing about this hotel - (a) spacious rooms and (b) its close proximity to metro station and the Schonbrunn Palace The room was very comfortable and spacious which is a rarity in Europe. It felt like a room in an Asian country. The breakfast was quite good and the chef making eggs was wonderful. She was warm and filled with energy serving all the guests in a jovial manner. The nearest metro station is less than 5 min walk which actually is a very important factor. The main square (First district) was 15 mins away by metro including the walks from metro station. The Schonbrunn Palace which is one of the main tourist attractions of Vienna and has the largest Christmas market is 10 mins walk away from the hotel. We had gone in December and visited this palace more than once due to the vibrant christmas market. Overall, i will highly recommend this hotel especially to the tourists travelling with family."

"I found my stay at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn overall very pleasant. The hotel impresses with its classic Viennese style and a calm, well-maintained atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well equipped. Positive were the small minibar and the kettle with coffee and tea. The staff were consistently very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, two issues slightly diminished an otherwise very good impression: First, there were noticeable fluctuations in the hot water supply in the shower. On one day, the water was extremely hot and could not be adjusted to a cooler temperature, making it almost impossible to shower. On the following day, the water was only lukewarm and could not be made any hotter. Second, the room service arrangement was confusing. When I tried to place a room service order by phone, the receptionist informed me that “room service” only works by going personally to the restaurant or bar, placing the order there, and then having it delivered to the room. This strikes me as an unusual interpretation of room service. Moreover, this limitation is not clearly explained on the information sign in the room. Conclusion: A very attractive hotel with plenty of charm, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. With a more stable hot water system and clearer, more customer-friendly room service procedures, the stay would be close to perfect."

"Fantastic experience from start to end! We stayed in a Premium Room 1308 which was massive with floor to ceiling windows and 2 balconies and a beautiful large bathroom with separate toilet. Our room was ready early so checked in before 3pm. Hotel is directly opposite the beautiful Schonbrunn Palace gardens and we walked around here couple of times a day. The amazing Christmas market was still going as well. We were a bit concerned about being a bit out of the city but Underground station Heitzing is approx 50m away and in 10-15 mins you are in Central Vienna. Breakfast was amazing with good selection of hot food including egg chef and lots of breads, meats, fish, fruits and pastries. All staff were very friendly and we were sad to leave."
