"We stayed at the Europa for 4 nights at the end of October/beginning of November 2025. In general, this is a large modern hotel in the centre of Belfast. Staff were friendly and helpful and the system works well, especially the lifts to the higher levels. The food in the main restaurant was good, the breakfasts were superb and excellently organised. We did not, however, appreciate a ‘discretionary’ 10% addition to the dinner bill which we only noticed the next day. Parking was literally next door in a private indoor car park which worked well. The room was tiny, much too small for an adult couple and therefore uncomfortable . There were no wardrobes as such, and in general space was extreremely limited in the room. The ensuite toilet and shower were separated from the room by a transparent glass partition and glass door. Therefore anybody using these facilities would be in full view. This was really impractical and left us ill at ease most of the time. There was a small curtain which only partially covered one side. A broken faucet in the bathroom was reported. Therefore while we enjoyed Belfast itself, I am not sure if we would return in a hurry to the Europa."
