"There was a foul smell around the pool area and in our room, which was on level 1. I'd avoid staying on the lower levels if I was booking again. We were eventually able to change rooms, but no reasonable refund/ alternative was offered for the problem and it's very difficult to document a smell! Staff were aware of the problem but said it was "out of their control". I wouldn't book again."

"Pretty good, the room smelled really bad. Coming from outside apparently. They appear to have an extractor in the bathroom but apparently these are not connected to anything. The room was changed to a better room and a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit as an apology. We would have checked out it was so bad. Staff were good. We would return. Plenty of local public parking."

"Excellent hotel in a superb location. Very friendly and professional staff from reception, room service and restaurant. The food was first class with a wide choice at breakfast and dinner. I stayed in a Club Suite and appreciated the Club Room where there was a great selection of drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend the hotel"
