Hotel El Duque

"Lovely clean hotel, shops, restaurants and bars very close so if you dont like leaving the resort, this is perfect. Rooms are very spacious. Nice food, great selection of drinks including pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, amaretto and baileys. I would visit this hotel again, air con can be rented for €100 for the week and they give you 20 back at the end. €15 deposit for towels with you get back. Plenty of sunbeds. The pool opens at 10am but the bar doesn't open until 11am, we bought some drinks to tide us over. Taxi's and buses are cheap."

"I would of give 5 stars but the room was dated things didn’t work, we had to change the toaster, I should of reported the doors to balcony were broken and the shower head kept falling off. Other than that absolutely perfect, nice big apartment, lovely balcony, great location, staff great and helpful. Loved it already booked again for next September. Lovely walk to the beach and bars, supermarket close by. Not a good location if you have mobility issues as it’s very hilly in places. 2 decent pools however I do think they should make the smaller pool adults only as it was mostly adults just relaxing then you would get a family with kids making noise, i know it’s a kids holiday too, but stay round the main pool where there is entertainment and much bigger. Loved it and can see us returning many times."

"We have been to this hotel a few times now and it has always been good however on this occasion the food was awful, not appealing, everything was cold. We met friends at this hotel and we had a great time we had such fun with the entertainment staff who were all lovely especially Lorenzo and Kris. All the staff were really nice and always smiling except for the bald guy in reception who thought it was great to cut my partners wristband off at midday even though we never arrived until 11 at night. We will return to this hotel as we like the hotel and staff but we will come self catering as the food was really not enjoyable. The entertainment was good but as we have returned to the hotel we are still seeing some of the same acts from 2 years ago. A great time though was had by all. Thank you Linda & Steve x"
