"Would we return YES! Positives - first off the staff. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and great with the kids. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we had no issues here. The animation team, especially Adele were great with the kids. We used the kids club during our 10 day stay and the kids LOVED their time there. The staff were just complete naturals and very involved. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was on point. The cleaners were always about, keeping everything clean. Rooms were made up every day and towels and sheets changed at your request. Only negative on the room cleanliness would be the floors. We found our feet always dirty so unsure if the floors are actually washed when the rooms are cleaned. We stayed in a bungalow as a family of 4 (631) which was in a great location just round next to the main pool bar. Plenty storage and space for us all. The pool areas were great, we did prefer the “relaxed” pool at the far end as found the main pool very busy and noisier as this is where all the main day actives were being held. The kids pool was also great. We did find the pools to be a tad on the cold side. We were B&B and couldn’t really fault breakfast too much. You can’t really go wrong with toast, meats, cheeses etc. it was a bit like a cattle market when heading for breakfast, however this is expected I’m sure in any hotel especially a busy family focussed hotel. Very little negatives - people “securing” sunbeds. It really made us laugh that people were that desperate as we always managed to get beds. We had wished the pool staff took the rules more seriously and removed towels if the beds had not been attended to after a specific time. We had hoped the floors would have been cleaned in the bungalow. A double bed would have been nice to have rather than 2 singles that moved about. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and would definitely consider staying where again. We loved the location and the canary village vibe. Thanks GF Isabel for a great holiday!"

"Stayed 7N over the half-term week in October, booked via BA Holidays. Overall very impressed with the hotel- easy check-in process and helpful staff assisting us getting to our room. It's about 10 minutes or so walk to the beach, with a number of shops/supermarkets/bars etc very close by. Room was clean & comfortable, although for a couple a double bed would have been preferable rather than 2 singles pushed together. Room was made up daily, & towels/bed linen changed on request. We had a room towards the edge of the hotel complex, so it was very quiet & had a good night's sleep every night. Food (we booked all-inclusive)- a good selection of hot & cold food for breakfast; lunch/dinner is well organised (you are directed to a table by a server who also takes drink order); we found a varied selection of foods every day so didn't go hungry. There is also a selection of snacks (burgers, hot dogs etc) available at the main pool bar during the afternoon. The grounds are maintained to a very clean standard, & we found the staff- whether on reception, in the restaurant, or behind a bar, to be friendly and eager to help with any questions we had. Being half term week, as expected there were many families with young children. The hotel seemed to make good efforts to keep children occupied, with pool activities, evening mini-disco, and kids' club. The only slightly negative feedback is that the pool did not open until 10.00am, being roped off before then to stop people reserving sunbeds. I am fully supportive of the principle, however I feel 10.00am is too late to open the pool- especially when the resort has many children staying who want to play, & after the clock change so people were up earlier. This was a sentiment shared by many other families we spoke to as we waited for the 'rope drop', so perhaps the hotel could consider bringing the pool open time earlier by an hour? (subject of course to the pool attendant being available). Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning to the GF Isabel in future."

"Let me start by saying you get what you pay for and we got a cheap deal for this holiday. All in all, it was OK, but I definitely would not return. To start with the good bits - the hotel is attractive, in the style of a Canarian village. We had a nice sea view from our 4th floor apartments. There are good playgrounds and swimming pools for kids. The onsite shop is also pretty good. Onto the bad - the dining room is an extremely unpleasant experience and utter chaos. Going to the buffet was so intensely stressful that we lost weight. The place is way too packed and it just makes meals a miserable experience. Food quality was average at best. The rooms were quite shabby and not very pleasant to spend time in. The staff in general were miserable. The location is not very convenient, quite a walk from everything. The WiFi is dreadful - come on guys, it's 2025! There are loads of better hotels in the south of Tenerife so I suggest you exercise great caution before booking Isabel."
