Hotel Palia Tropico Playa

"Super hotel with great location. The beach is just across the road (McDonalds too) . Clean cosy rooms and lovely maintained facilities. The top roof pool and view are amazing! Restaurant food was exceptional. Fish every day, prawns, octopus and paella with sea food very tasty! Very friendly staff and genuinely welcoming people! 10 out 10! Definitely will come back and will highly recommend this hotel."

"Just returned home after my husband & I enjoyed a 7 night stay at the Tropico. On entry to the hotel, the lovely smell & cleanliness of the hotel really stood out. We were greeted at Reception & check-in was very swift & informative. We had booked a Seaview room which was in Block 2, 5th floor & when we pulled back the curtain to the balcony doors, we were wowed by our spectacular view. The room was sufficient for us both, although the floor looked like it hadn't been swept from the previous guests, but we're not the type to complain. The bathroom was nice, a slight drainage problem could be smelt at times, but again we didn't let this spoil our stay. I actually went out & bought a cleaning product & used this during our stay. The bed was very comfy & we both slept well. My husband's side was very squeeky but he didn't mind. What we did notice was how quiet our floor was, which made for a good night's rest. We didn't hear a peep from rooms above or next door. The dining room was very clean & there was a good choice of food throughout the week. We didn't struggle to find something we liked & it was of a very good standard. The Chefs worked hard & the dining room staff worked extremely hard to clear up after guests & reset the tables. One person in particular stood out in the dining room & that was Danni!! He always acknowledged us & is an extremely hard worker who worked long shifts. He was over the moon when we gave him a tip to acknowledge his hard work. The Entertainment lady & forgive me if I get her name wrong, Rodriqua perhaps? Well she is a shining star, always cheery & we had fun with her in the lounge of an evening. Having stayed at the Tropico some years ago & I was not impressed at that time, the changes & refurbishments that have been made really are superb. I'm so glad we gave it another go. The location is fantastic & I would most certainly consider the Tropico for any future visits to Majorca with my husband. Thank you for making our return trip to Majorca so enjoyable & look forward to coming back in the future."
