"This is a lovely Hotel .. It is modern. clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's in a perfect location.. approx. 75 m max from the hotel entrance to the nearest beach. The rooftop pool is smaller than the advertising would have you believe, it's 0.90m deep maximum and it's more of a plunge pool than a swimming pool. Despite it's relatively small size it's very welcome to cool off in on hot, sunny days. All of that is very good and commendable.. However, there is one thing that really lets the hotel down .. It doesn't have ANY rooms with balconies.. despite what you're lead to believe in the advertising and what the reception staff will tell you if you ask for an upgrade. We were told by Senator Hotel head office to ask at the reception desk for an upgrade when we checked in.. We did that and the receptionist actually went through the charade of tapping away at his keyboard to check.. No, we were told, none available today but keep asking as rooms become available, daily. It only took us a day or so to realise that there weren't any rooms.. NONE AT ALL, that have balconies.. The 'checking' on the computer is a lie.. a charade, an act.. There are no rooms available with balconies.. I checked the hotel website before writing this review and rooms with a balcony are still being advertised.. I have no idea what trading standards, truth and honesty are in force in Spain when it comes to advertising but this hotel is advertising something that doesn't exist !! And who's idea was it to have a glass panel in the shower (partly opaque) that allows the other occupants of the room to see into the shower while you're in there washing yourself..? OK perhaps for couples but not ideal for friends sharing a room or perhaps parents with teenage children .. Strange One !! I would not recommend this hotel for a long term stay.. we stayed for 13 nights .. There isn't anywhere to dry your swimming stuff, towels or wet clothing and there are no drawers, cupboards etc to unpack any clothes into.. More suitable for a short, long weekend type stay.. Think in terms of a better quality UK Travel Lodge, Premier Inn with no attached restaurant .. To finish on a positive note.. The bed in my room was possibly one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in and the staff were excellent... Just remember though, NO BALCONIES, Whatever you're told or led to believe in advertising ..!!"
