"This is a decent hotel but could be doing with better cleaning of the apartments. Our apartment wasn’t that clean. We had to complain. Rooms seem to get a quick lick just. The pool area and sundeck was really good. Breakfast was ok too. Not a lot to choose from but you won’t starve. I found it interesting that you were forced to pay for breakfast even before you entered the restaurant. Not really trustworthy are they. Wasn’t impressed with that. But it is what it is. Staff were not really friendly at all. Staff Could be doing with a course in customer service."

"Just returned from a 10 day holiday at the Bahia Kontiki. Lovely apartment (1101) created a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. So much so that we will returning next year. Staff were always willing to help and the onsite maintenance from cleaning to keeping the gardens tidy, was excellent. This was our first visit. And our expectations are, that our next visit, will be just as enjoyable."

"Very surprised that this hotel is 4 star??? Quite basic, some of the staff were nice and friendly, the pool area was nice and clean, as was the chill out area, the room itself wasn’t anything spectacular, bedroom was big and plenty of storage, the bathroom was nice, had toiletries. The kitchen was very basic, no draining board, 4 of each thing, so had to wash up after every use, no bowls for cereal/crisps just huge flat dishes, two aprons but no hand towel for the kitchen, no storage for the 3rd person that sleeps on the sofa, which wasn’t made up or very comfortable, had to keep my clothes in the case on the floor, for this being an very expensive place to stay it was lacking very much in comfort, it was also one of the noisiest places I’ve ever stayed, doors slamming and revellers screaming and breaking glass."
