"Positives about the hotel; -amazing location, practically on the strip but the hotel is so quiet you wouldn’t think you was. -massive supermarket attached to the hotel -no issues with cleanliness in the room, we had a very spacious apartment and a lovely balcony -hotel kept very clean Negatives; -SUN BED WARS!! not enough sun beds for the amount of people who stay (a guy at about 7:30am jet washes the pool area and if your towel is on a lounger it will get taken off (there was 1 nice guy who occasionally did the jet washing and he didn’t do this) if you don’t reserve a lounger you won’t get one. -rude receptionists (no customer service skills, genuinely did not see them smile once). -got told at the start of my holiday there was a shower room we could use to have a shower before we went to the airport and you had to book it in the morning if they had any availability (turns out there isn’t one) we had to use the showers by the pool. Overall, I would stay again."

"This was a second visit as we had previously enjoyed a weeks holiday 2 years ago. First thing you need to realise is that under no circumstances will not get into your room until 3 pm despite it being ready, clean and empty. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there were hoards of feral Irish children constantly screaming and running around unsupervised. On one occasion they were still using the pool past 9.30 pm until a drunken parent told them to stop and they had started to become intimidating. The sunbed wars start at about 6 am which was comical to watch until you realise they have all been taken and you cannot use the pool that day despite the majority of the beds being left unused until the afternoon. you may ask why I was awake at 6 am it because the noise from the pool as they were already in it . The constant screaming and noise became unbearable and we opted to stay away from the hotel most days. The hotel is OK if you are in large groups and you like constant noise but other wise stay away"

"As a family of 7 arrived at Labranda booking 3 rooms via booking.com pay on arrival. Receptionist took my details & payment 1st then my daughters for her 2 rooms, she was given keys. I was told they were full, a taxi would take me to sister hotel El Dorado over a mile away!!! Waited until I paid before telling me… nice! I showed her my booking and point blank refused to be separated from my family, waste of time it just fell on deaf ears, all she kept saying was “come back tomorrow to speak to manager” Absolutely fuming I had no choice if I wanted a bed for the night!!! Receptionist at El Dorado was the complete opposite, absolutely lovely kind lady, very apologetic. 9.30am next morning back to Labranda, yet again told “no room available for you” Demanded to see the manager and eventually she got him, at first his attitude was the same as Rude receptionist until my daughter pointed out that the people in in the room next to her were leaving that day…he finally agreed and by 2pm was moving into the room in the place I had booked. This really needs looking into as it’s been happening a lot, if it is their policy to ship you out elsewhere it should be clearly stated in booking info OR quite simply don’t overbook because your greed is priority over guests!!! As for management responding to a previous similar post “due to unforeseen circumstances” No, let’s get this straight Labranda purposely overbook knowing full well they are sending you somewhere else!!! The couldn’t care less rude attitude from that receptionist was disgraceful, she definitely needs retraining in customer care. I would never recommend this property to anyone and most definitely never go there again. Other points to note are :- balcony door broken, safety issue as it doesn’t lock. Housekeeping- non existent, bin emptied once in 4 days. Pool cleaning- the guy was still hosing down at 9.50am soaking everyone’s towels then dumping them on tables, he really did love his job doing it with a smug grin on his face…horrible man. There has to be a ‘plus’ A huge shout out for the pool snack bar staff, amazing, friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. e"
