H10 White Suites

"We stayed at the H10 White Suites for 1 week, from 20th Oct. Overall it's a very nice hotel and the staff are friendly, helpful and work extremely hard. Good location, beautiful gardens and a lovely resident cat. Room - excellent, loads of space and storage, comfy bed, loads of pillows and massive bath towels. We did All inclusive and got bath robes, slippers and a full mini bar. We didn't upgrade to a pool view, so our view was a large tree with a car park beyond, this didn't worry us as we rarely use a balcony anyway. Pool - lovely area, sunbeds so comfortable, beach towels supplied in room. However, could do with a bit of background music. A rethink about the reserving of sunbeds is needed, as the staff are unable to clean the area properly, when people are putting towels out at ridiculous early times. It's hard because the pool area is the main thoroughfare around the hotel, so no gates to stop entering, but I'm sure there is a better solution. Also the raised jacuzzi area should not have sunbeds on it, as those who reserved the beds up there seemed to use the jacuzzi for their personal use only. It therefore became intimidating to venture up there. Food - we've seen lots of reviews about food and even had conversations with others that either loved it or hated it. From our perspective, and we've eaten in a lot of hotel buffets over the years, our assessment would be that the food in the evenings is ok if you love fish, which we don't. We managed for a few days, but ended up eating out. The signage was a bit hit and miss, my husband loves soup but could never really work out what the flavour was. Breakfast was much better, but the popular items would run out quickly and there were long delays on being refreshed. One particular day, there were no sausages or beans for over 20 mins. The Italian restaurant was brilliant until we were served pizza which couldn't be cut as it was so hard. The food served in the snack bar at lunch time was very good, but on a couple of occasions we waited 40 mins and 30 mins for food to arrive. Not ideal for a snack bar. Bars - very nice had a good selection of drinks and the spirits were all branded and very generous portions. But during the evening there was often only one person serving so queues were long. We often went to the bar in the reception, as there was always someone ready to serve you. Entertainment - not very good, just one hour in the evening, apparently this was much better prior to this year, not sure what changed. Don't think we would visit White Suites again, but gave 4 stars as we think there are a few lessons to be learnt to make this a 5 star experience."

"22nd to 29th oct What a fabulous week for our 50th wedding anniversary. Room 194 close to pool and reception. Our room was great air con and all toiletries you would need maid service everyday nice powerfull shower Tea making facilities robes and slippers. All the staff are very friendly and the place is spotlessly clean The restaaurant food is the best weve had for a long time good selection and quality. Breakfast is good too nice selection again staff work very hard. Highly recommend you stay here very quiet hotel and in a good position Supermarket 50 yds away. Hotel gave us prosecco and chocolates for our anniversary"

"This hotel is fantastic - quiet during the day around the pool, but with excellent evening entertainment every night. It's also very close to the beach, marina and the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants if you aren't planning on spending all your time at the hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. Oswald, the pool lifeguard, is a lovely character and reception staff are hugely accomodating. The food is buffet style with plenty of choice, especially the fish selection! The rooms are spacious and comfortable; 3 of us shared a room and there was plenty of room for us all. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return in the future."
