Elba Premium Suites

"We are currently here in the hotel. Initially we were really pleased. However things came to light, for example, I had to ask after day 4 of our 7 day stay whether we were having fresh towels and bedding? Reception said it should be every 2 days….i asked if they’d be changed bearing in mind it was 3:45pm. Receptionist said it would be the ‘afternoon team’. I said as long as they’re changed. Knock on the door at 4:45 when we are all changing & showering from the pool, initially to be given 1 towel. I had to ask for fresh bedding for my children also for 3 more towels. I was then left to change it all myself. Day 5….no bedding has been changed again, just be re-made. I know this because there was felt tip pen on my sheets which are still there. No towels again. Also the bar in the evening is short staffed, 26people queuing with 1/2 people serving. Food is being re used the following day, for example pasta served hot in the evening and then cold the next day. Also not enough staff clearing tables, they’re working extremely hard but there is always a queue into the dining hall. The food is also no replenished as the evening progresses. Overall, wouldn’t stay here again"

"Four nights at the Elba Premium Suites and we felt like we’d had a proper holiday! Lovely relaxing adult area of the Elba hotel. Lovely suite with huge outside area and sunbeds. Food was lovely and staff are friendly and welcoming. Booked ten nights in January next year and seven in October -can’t wait to return!"

"Rooms. Spotlessly clean. 2 rooms one with twin beds, the other with a sofa trundle. Minibar was there but didn’t work so nothing was cold. Only had fizzy drinks and beer. No juice. We did get bottled water when we asked. Good pillows! Food. Average. Not much for vegetarians. The food labels were often not what the food was so it was hard to tell if something was vegetarian. At the adult only pool you could have pizza or pasta. The pizza had way too much cheese and the pasta was overcooked. No vegetarian sandwich options. The only other lunch option was the main buffet with loads of kids. Drinks. Don’t bother. The cocktails tasted like air freshener. Sangria the same. The wine was like paint stripper. Cava was ok. No orange juice at breakfast. No mint for mojitos. No cream for Italian coffee. Orange juice at the bar was more like a string squash. No bottled water at the bars. Only one person serving at the bar. We ended up eating out despite paying for all inclusive. Recommend yum yums for cocktails/milkshakes and imagine India for food. Both down by the beach. The hydro pool at the spa is nice but not what you come to Lanzarote for. Adult only pool feels claustrophobic. Small pool with lots of people crammed in around it. Music too loud sometimes. Ok if you like “it’s raining” by ziggy in tha house (according to my iPhone) Staff are friendly. No complaints there. Overall, I got some sun which was what I wanted. Wouldn’t come back to the hotel."
