Apartamentos San Marcial

"Stayed at San Marcial apartments from 31/10/35 to 03/11/25, solo female traveller. From the moment I arrived the lady on the front reception was friendly helpful chatty. Apartments are good for the price. Shop on site which was great for getting the basics I needed. Staff on the shop also fantastic. But the biggest asset to these apartments has to be Soroya who works in the bar. So friendly and a fabulous person. She kept me company while enjoying a drink in the evening. She even introduced me to her family which was really good and met up with them a lot over the weekend. Apartments are very near beach shops bars restaurants. As a solo female traveller felt very safe out and about Definitely recommend"

"Brilliant find. Had we have paid 50% more than we did we would have been more than happy. Huge 2 bed apartment, must be recently refurbed. Has all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. Beds are a tad on the firm side, no big issue. The master double is actually a double bed not 2 singles pushed together as is often the case. 50” TV in lounge, good for the kids, even if it’s just on in the background. Wi-fi is non existent, but inexplicably the 5G is far better than I ever get in the UK meaning we could watch Netflix via laptop. Powerful walk in shower that only very occasionally have we had an issue with hot water running out - and there’s 4 of us. Views over the pool make for relaxing and picturesque morning coffee - the planes taking off and landing right outside was an added bonus for us !! Location is great for food/drink. “The square” being a short distance with minimal inclines (via front not rear). This place has different bars and places to eat, Indian, Chinese, Italian and a little kebab shop! Beach minutes away. Staff polite, pool a tad cold but bearable, bar a little pricey but nice and convenient. Taxi to PDC under €10. We split our holiday 4 days here SC and 4 days Costa Teguise AI to get the best of both worlds - we will certainly look to do the same and return soon. Thanks San Marcial"

"We stayed at the San Marcial Apartments for one week in appt 208 on 11th Sept 2025. Our friends picked the holiday and we had already read the negative reviews and were anticipating a bit of a rough ride but here is my honest opinion. You must take the chance and experience these apartments for yourselves, don't let other peoples words cloud your judgement! We arrived pretty late at about 11.30pm and were checked in by a lovely lady called Sandra, she insisted on taking us to our apartment and explaining the layout to us. The next day we had a problem with the patio doors not locking and also main bathroom light not working, I went to reception and spoke to a different Sandra who sorted out keys for the patio doors and contacted the handy man who immediately fixed the light.. we found all of the staff to be courteous and well mannered. The apartments are rated 2 star, and yes they are a little basic but they are very spacious, clean and functional, if you need additional's such as clean towels then just ask at reception and they will sort it for you... personally I can't understand people who go on holiday and take images of a cracked tile, wonky doors, bugs etc then complain and give totally negative reviews??? just enjoy your bloody holiday which we certainly did. I have read additional reviews since returning and can honestly say that there are extensive purpose built ramps on every level throughout the complex to accommodate disabled people with wheelchairs, the pool is cleaned every day first thing, however, there was a problem with certain selfish people leaving their towels on the same sunbeds even throughout the night so that they could claim the loungers all week???? just not necessary as there were plenty there to choose from, and just before we left an additional 20 new beds and brollies were put out. Yes, these apartments are basic, but they are clean and functional, the complex is clean and relaxing, is a bit quiet at night but is a good base for a holiday stay and the staff are "ALL" very friendly and helpful. These apartments are a "work in progress" for the new owners who are doing a good job in trying to upgrade the complex... we had a very positive experience and will certainly be going back in the near future. A big thank you to both Sandra's and the rest of the staff for a pleasant stay, and to those who have winged on... get a life!"
