Hotel Lima

"Hotel is modern and centrally located. Service is not 4 star. For example water but no water cups provided. When you ask for some reception expect you to go down to the restaurant to collect them. It was not possible to have a wine glass, so wine was drunk out of plastic half pint glasses. When I wrote an email FAO owner / Manager they let staff answer it verbally rather than respond directly which strikes me as unprofessional. Other issues if I not experienced in a hotel at this star / price: overpowering air freshener in lift yet floors dirty and not vacuumed; the breakfast service was frankly unwelcoming; ironing board provided at reception but had to ask for it to be brought up; ensure you leave exactly on time as staff at reception will be irritated. Perhaps this was part of the response to The email above so don’t do that either. Overall the whole experience was not pleasant and I was very glad to leave. Some staff need retraining and manager needs to be more present"

"Hotel Lima is located in the golden centre of Marbella, approx. 3min walk from the beach and all the restaurants. It offers nice rooms and generally nice service. Also the rooftop bar and pool are really nice touch. But what really made my stay with my fiancé truly special was the reception staff - Sussane, Ana and José. Sussane did everything for us from giving us the best trip advices, to making sure our stay was always top notch, I’ve travelled to a lot of places and I have never came across such a nice hotel person. Planning to come back!"
