"I returned home on Sunday night from my annual last dose of sunshine and a few nice lunches trip with my friend. The poolside rooms that we had asked for were ready when we arrived. The spacious rooms and the rest of the hotel are cleaned to a high standard and these ground floor rooms are a personal favourite also when I visit the hotel in June every year with my wife. Friendly and efficient check in and it was nice to be back again. We were half board and there was a good choice of food including fish and meat cooked to order. The hotel was busy as UK half term started at the end of our stay but the restaurant staff coped very well. The location is superb. I like to swim in the sea and enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel and onto the beach. The hotel pool is in my experience one of the best for a swim and is accessible for people without the leg strength for normal steps. My mate and I had a really good time and I look forward to coming back again with my wife in June 2026 and again next October."

"We are currently mid-way of an eight-night stay, and frankly, we are very concerned and disappointed with our experience so far. Privacy Issue & Disappointing Resolution: Upon arrival, our balcony offered a decent view. However, a large function or gathering space has been set up directly opposite our room, which is now heavily populated. This means there are numerous people sitting directly facing our balcony and room. We cannot open our curtains or use the balcony at all without feeling completely exposed. We brought this up with the reception, expecting a simple room change. We were only offered to view an alternative room (lower down and less overlooked) after we specifically asked, and we were then informed we would be charged € extra to move. We ultimately declined due to the principle and the hassle, but it is unacceptable to charge guests for a fundamental failure in privacy caused by the hotel's setup. Serious Electrical and Maintenance Failures: This is our biggest concern. In a single day, the entire hotel’s electrics tripped out an estimated 15 times. The power cut out completely across the property repeatedly, which is a major safety concern. On top of this, water is visibly dripping through the ceiling in the main reception area, which feels alarming given the electrical problems we are experiencing. We are writing this review while still checked in because the lack of action or communication from staff regarding these serious issues has been extremely disappointing. No one has proactively approached us or other guests to apologize, explain the ongoing outages, or reassure us that the fundamental building safety issues (water/electrics) are being seriously addressed. This has severely impacted our ability to enjoy the start of our long stay."

"We had a great stay at the IPV Palace and Spa. Parking is free, and easy, we were right outside the front door. The reception area is enormous, it really does feel like a palace. The staff were very friendly and we were given directions to our room, which was a short walk away. The room was superb, huge, with large twin beds, and a balcony overlooking the sea. We had a good supper in the a la carte restaurant, we avoided the buffet as it was full with a tour group. The service and food were excellent. We slept very well in the extremely comfortable beds, with quality linens and pillows, and with the balcony door open the sound of the sea all night. The shower was good, very clean, and with loads of hot water and nice towels. Breakfast was superb. Every buffet offering you could imagine, eggs cooked to order, fruits, nuts, seeds, wonderful bread, I could go on and on. All eaten on the terrace outside. It was all great value, and we wished we were staying longer!"
