Occidental Alicante

"Omg — what can I say? This hotel is absolutely superb in every aspect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Group of 8 ladies from UK - 5 rooms. From the customer service to the atmosphere and the rooms — everything was top class. I stayed in a family room with a separate lounge — beds were super comfy, bathrobes and lush towels provided, plus lovely bathroom extras, and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a real highlight! I honestly didn’t expect a hot breakfast, but the selection was amazing — I was spoiled for choice. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful (another 5 stars ⭐️). And the location — perfect! Smack bang between the city centre and the marina (5 stars again 🌟). I’m already in the process of booking my return visit — 10 stars from me! And trust me, I’m fussy and a bit OCD… but I honestly couldn’t fault the Occidental Alicante! 💫 My only disappointment is I didn’t take any photos of the hotel!! My fault!!"

"The good points: Good central hotel, close to beach, marina, bars and restaurants. Staff friendly, decent choice for breakfast although hot food could have been warmer. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but you get a voucher and can get free tea/coffee at machine at reception. Not so good: stated in room 202 which wasn’t very functional - no shelving in bathroom or shower to sit toiletries on. Long mirror in room but not close to sockets for hair dryer/straightener and no shelf for make up. There was a desk/dressing table but was in front of a window that looked out into other rooms, no mirror to do your hair/makeup. Air con was ok, but quite noisy."
