"We had a lovely 7 night stay in the hotel. Great bed, spacious room, good shower, good airco. A really nice breakfast too with good coffee, great cheese and lots of choices. The staff was very calm and friendly. The hotel is very close to the old city center. There are many restaurants, bars, coffee places and a large supermarket nearby. We can warmly recommended the hotel and the city itself."

"Good hotel to stay at for a night. The bed was very spacious and the room was clean enough. Staff was very attentive and friendly and made sure everything was okay. I was lucky to have been the first person to test out the new mattress in the room that day. Furniture is a little outdated. The bathroom is spacious and had all the necessary amenities. I had an issue with the bathroom sink not draining and they came up and fixed it quickly while I was out for dinner. There is a mini fridge and safe available and lots of closet space. They did not provide a free bottle of water compared to other places I had stayed at in Porto and Lisbon. Unfortunately, I had a room with a very small window so it just felt dark and depressing. There was not much lighting either. The hallway was stuffy and hot, but when I got into the room, it was a strong contrast with the AC blasting (it is adjustable). The room was not the most comfortable, as it felt very humid and damp. I would say this hotel is more like a 3.5 star hotel. However, it is very soundproof (I was located near the elevator) and I slept surprisingly very well. Located near lots of cool restaurants and bars. Very hilly so definitely bring good shoes with rubber soles."

"Excellent hotel. Very clean and nice decor. Centrally located with a little noise at night but overall quiet enough. Staff were attentive and helpful. We didn't have breakfast, preferring to sample the many cafes in the surrounding areas. Taxi from the airport to hotel was €35. "
