Golden Residence Hotel

"Good hotel with swimming pool and near the beach. The hotel was near the shopping centre which was convenient. Plenty of restaurants to go to Highly recommend it"

"Here was my first impression of the Hotel: had been told no early check in at 12:15 came back at 3pm, no offer to help with the bags, no soap in the bathroom, no bathrobes, Fridge not on / working, given one of the less desirable rooms. So far not a great start. Everyone appears to be doing the bear minimum in the slowest pace. Double bed means two single beds pushed together with a gap in the middle. I would not normally notice one of these problems individually but all together is consistently disappointing. If the staff turn it around over the days I’m here I will make this better, if not I will reflect this in another post. The facilities look somewhat good at first sight."

"The hotel had everything we wanted. The room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were wonderful. We didn’t expect to have to pay for small incidentals like the safe, but we worked around that. I am giving 5 stars because I left a necklace in the room when we checked out. My hotel in Lisbon reached out when I noticed it and the staff at the Golden Residence stepped right up. They found the necklace and had it sent to the hotel in Lisbon so a friend could pick it up for me after I had returned to TO. Their kindness and professionalism exceeded expectations. Thank you."
