Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel

"Where to start about our AMAZING experience at Corpo Santo hotel in Lisbon... My husband and I decided, last minute, to change our honeymoon location to Lisbon, and so I started searching online and Trip Advisor for a nice, affordable, hotel. What drew me to Corpo Santo was the already awesome reviews it had. I wanted a hotel that was near a lot of things to do, mostly in walking distance. And it checked that box for sure! The second, and in my opinion the most important at the time, was the "noise." I hate noise in a hotel and the reviews previously posted said that the noise level was great. So, we took the chance. And my goodness, they blew all expectations out of the water! First off, before we even got there, Ana, one of the concierge, was EXTREMELY helpful and patient with me as I asked a million questions beforehand. Even with the 6 hour time difference, she answered my emails promptly and she was so kind. She helped us with dinner reservations and even recommended a place for tile painting, which we did and loved it so much! For airport transfers, they do partner with a service that can pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel, if you're not comfortable with Bolt/Uber/Taxis, at least if it's your first time in Lisbon. I wasn't super happy with our driver, but that has nothing to do with Corpo Santo. Anyways, once we got to the hotel, we were greeted by Joao and Sergio and they both were super welcoming and awesome! They upgraded our room for free, which was so unexpected! And for the noise, we couldn't hear anyone on our floor or outside noise. The entire trip they recognized you and went out of their way to do small things to make you feel welcomed. There was even an older gentleman who works in the restaurant at night that remembered us and remembered I had a dairy allergy. He also gave wine recommendations that were spot on, and honestly, one of them is one of the best wines I've ever had. We were there for only 6 nights and it rained 95% of the time. But the hotel staff was so accommodating and always giving recommendations of things to do or places to see. They do give free walking tours everyday but unfortunately, we couldn't go to any of them because of the rain. All in all, we will 100% go back to Corpo Santo and will recommend it to anyone going to Lisbon. The staff was exceptional and by far, it is the CLEANEST hotel we've every stayed in in our lives! Stay at Corpo Santo! You will not be disappointed. ps: they also have a 24 hour candy bar in the lobby and a free "midnight-snack" every night. I could just go on and on about the awesomeness of this place."

"Stayed for a long weekend with my partner. We absolutely could not fault this hotel. We were greeted from our taxi, given drinks and snacks, had our room upgraded and spent the evening at the hotel. This included drinks and pastries, using the jacuzzi and sauna and a really lovely meal in the restaurant (with a discount for people staying). We went on one of the included walking tours which was great - friendly and really interesting. It started in the hotel and we were told about the history recently unearthed. The hotel was an excellent base for exploring the city and going out and about with its perfect location. We have recommended to friends and would not hesitate to book again if we return to Lisbon.
