"Booked this hotel for 3 nights for my sister and husband and two nights for myself and partner. Unfortunately due to the excessive noise from surrounding bars that went on till 4am, we checked out a day early. We were Promised a refund for two rooms which we vacated early, however this has not been upheld, despite the hotel asking me to change my review to reflect that the hotel staff were helpful, which they were. Despite this 10 days later still no refund, we feel very let down by this hotel as if a refund was not possible they should have said in the first instance. Feels very manipulative to ask customers to edit a review so a refund could be issued, and then not action it."

"This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel but definitely the last ,hot tub really grubby with a brown dirt line ,bathrooms need a refit really poor shower and damaged trays our door was sellotaped together ,the noise is terrible ,I asked at reception for 2 small packets of milk and was refused and told to buy some in the supermarket"

"This hotel /bar area is a place to unwind with good dining options too, right outside the front doors. It’s also the closest place to the public parking garage, and also, to the old city’s waterfront or beach. Otherwise, the roundabout walk from Rua Nova or street parking around Rua Jacinto Dayet is a bit of a pain. Baltum also happens to be situated on the edge of a Vegas-like entertainment/scene, so you’re likely to hear the crooning and ruckus of partiers at night. After all, Albufeira is known as the “party town,” although really, I mostly heard American accents wherever we went. It’s a trade-off (along with old pipes with less powerful water pressure) for staying in one of the most popular seaside escapes, just outside Faro and 2 hours’ drive from Lisbon-Sintra. Ask for a space closer to the cliffside stairs down to the sea, and you’ll get rooftop views to paradise!"
